Andreas Leo

Media officer

Andreas Leo is Media Officer at Daimler Mobility Services GmbH, a Daimler Group division dedicated to flexible car-sharing solutions. Andreas Leo studied geography, sociology and regional planning in Berlin. His professional career started in the Federal State of Brandenburg’s Environmental Department. He has many years of experience in Germany as freelance regional planner and consultant and has been working at Daimler with car2go and other mobility concepts for the last 6 years.

About car2Go: As the world’s first free-floating car-sharing service, car2go provides its members with the possibility to use Smart Fortwo vehicles (ICE or EV) with spontaneous booking and without commitment on specific return time or location. car2go currently operates over 12,000 vehicles with 850,000 customers in 31 cities worldwide, including Berlin, Rome, Vienne and Vancouver.

Vice-President Alsace Regional Council

Thomas Mennerat

Directeur Commercial et Etudes de Schaeffler France

Thomas Mennerat assumes the responsibilities for engineering and sales of the automotive products made by Schaeffler France in Haguenau (Alsace). After an international master degree in mechanical engineering and first positions within Faurecia in Germany, he joined the Schaeffler group also in Germany in 2003, where he held different positions in the business unit belt drive systems before leading this product group in China and coming to Schaeffler France in 2014.

Jean-François Sencerin

Research Deputy VP, Renault

Jean-François Sencerin, Research Deputy VP Vehicle Intelligence Renault. He was graduated as chemistry and microelectronics engineer; He has a 20 years experience in electronics where he developed knowledge within several industrial areas: aerospace & defense, semiconductors, automotive. He developed his background in engineering, project management, production, sales & cost control. He joined Renault in 2000 to hold different functions within electronics hardware and driving / life on board innovations. He is currently in charge to manage “vehicle intelligence” department and ‘New Face of Industry Plan about Autonomous Driving operationally.

Jean-François Sencerin is Project Manager for the French Action Plan « Self-driving Car »: 34 Action Plans for a “New Industrial France”.
These action plans that express the « New Industrial France » are presented as priorities of the French industrial policy. These priorities took the form of 34 plans of industrial conquest. Each plan is manned by a project manager who is in charge of developing appropriate roadmaps.


Franck Cazenave

Author “Stop Google” - R Bosch

At his side, Franck Cazenave, book author “Stop Google – Meet new challenges from the Web giant”. He will mention the reasons why automated-driving will become a must and explain why Google will play such an important part.

Franck Cazenave completed master degrees in Purchasing (Bordeaux) and Business Intelligence (Paris), and a Ph.D. in Business Administration, specifically about Toyota inter-firm learnings and relationships at Paris University in2009.

He has 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. He currently works at Robert Bosch, as marketing and business development Director for French customers around four key automotive innovation pillars: Mass reduction with new material & designs, Powertrain electrification, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems towards autonomous driving (video, radar, US ...) and, finally, Internet connectivity & services for end-user.

He is invited in conferences and automotive events in France and in Europe (Frost & Sullivan Urban Mobility London, European Microelectronic Summit Paris, Autoactu Paris, FEDA Paris, EVER Monaco, OVE Paris, RIVE Alès, Assofond Roma…).

He just published a book, in France, at Pearson, whose title is “Stop Google – Meet new challenges from the Web giant”.

Journalist / Moderator for the 2 plenary sessions

Laurent Meillaud is an automotive journalist , focused on technology. For over 25 years, he’s been discussing the evolution of this sector in the print media, the internet and even on the radio and on television. This expert is also hired by the mainstream media during motor shows to comment the latest trends.

Considered in France as the "Mr. Car of the future", Laurent Meillaud is also a writer (more than a dozen books to his credit) and a consultant. Events managers ask him regularly to organize high level conferences and roundtables about technological developments in the automotive industry. He was in charge of the workshops at the last Paris Motor Show (2014) and is also involved in the CESA 3.0 conference in Paris.

He is also a consultant for the Vehicle of the Future cluster for technology watch.
