Innovation platforms – offering pooled resources

Innovation platforms are enshrined in the development goals of the Pôle Véhicule du Futur and its ecosystem, and are endorsed by the local and regional authorities.

They are established to create strong pull-factors for the region, capable of triggering the setting up of leading-edge technology ventures

R&D Moteurs: Vehicle and system testing

“Air Loop" Center of Competitive Excellence (CEMBA project)
is a platform for studies and modelling of the Air Loop, offering attractive and adaptable equipments to manufacturers and first-tier suppliers involved in research on the air loop (complete exhaust system) and on the development of internal-combustion engine.
This center is operational since november 2011 providing to companies based in Europe testing equipments dedicated to optimization of engine environment. He is based in East of France, in Franche-Comté region, near the German border.

Financed by local authorities (Conseil Régional de Franche-Comté, Conseil Général du Doubs, Pays de Montbéliard Agglomération), French government (Caisse des Dépôts & Consignations )and private companies (Faurecia, for example).

PVF-ITS test platform for intelligent and communicating systems

Companies will have the use of testing facilities and testing grounds for finalising technology transfers and taking inventions through to innovative products and services.

The purpose of the PVF-ITS platform is to equip the region with an array of industrial prototype validation facilities in the field of mobility. It is located in Eastern France, in the border regions with Germany and Switzerland and offer secure test tracks in Lure (70) and follow-up in the real life operating environment, primarily in the Urban Community of Strasbourg.

The platform provides equipment coresponding to standards and also enables to simulate the loss of bond or other scenarios.
